Anne Robertson MSc. Chartered MCIPD


Specialising in Corporate and Human Resource policy development for Housing organisations.

My background


I took up my first role in housing with Glasgow City Council in 1978 and left my last position in a communitiy based Housing Association in 2015.


During my career in housing I worked in house letting, homelessness, neighbourhood housing management, stock transfer, furnished lets and, latterly, held the position of Corporate Services & HR Manager.


I am continuing my involvement in housing via brief consultancy projects.



My qualifications


I obtained a Master of Science in Local Authority Management at Strathclyde University in 2002 and became a fully qualified Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in 2011.  I am also an HR Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).

Recent Projects



Supporting housing organisations, private sector and voluntary organisations in:


  • Developing bespoke terms and conditions of service including producing template forms
  • Revising sickness absence policy and procedures
  • Reviewing senior management team grades and remuneration
  • Staff structure review
  • Conducting grievance and disciplinary investigations

    • Committee/Board as an employer
    • Supporting an ageing workforce
    • Writing in plain language
    • Writing policies
